Applications
UV imaging is a powerful tool to visualise finger- and handprints on different nonporous materials without prior chemical treatments. The ProxiVision GmbH as an expert for intensified camera provides a camera which allows for a live and high-resolution visualisation with digital camera during search for evidence. Together with a UV lamp this search even works during normal room light.
The laboratory setup is used to find fingerprints on items in an easy and covenient manner.
The live image can be observed and digitally stored on a notebook, PC equipment or any other vido equipment.
